Kyankwanzi Resident Survives Lynching for Stealing Two Bulls

Police in Kakumiro district are holding one Taddeo Tumwebaze aged 36 years, a resident of Kyankwazi for allegedly stealing two bulls.

The Albertine Region police spokesperson Julius Allan Hakiza says on Monday at around 10:40am police rescued Tumwebaze from an angry mob who wanted to lynch him for allegedly stealing two bulls.

Hakiza says the incident happened in Mpeeka LC1. Police rushed to the scene and picked up  the suspect to Kakindo police station.

When he was interrogated, the suspect admitted that he had stole the two black bulls from Ntunda LC1, in Ntunda parish, Kyankwazi district.

He calls on those who have registered a case of missing cows to report to police in Kyankwazi.
