The Deputy Resident City Commissioner for Hoima West Division Hajjat Sarah Nanyanzi is dead, the Hoima RCC Badru Mugabi
Nanyanzi died on Monday night after having been admitted at Mulago National Referral hospital on Friday.
She is said to have succumbed to diabetes and hypertension at which she has battled for sometime.
Hajjat Sarah Nanyanzi assumed the office of the Deputy RCC for Hoima West division on July 26, 2023 after her predecessor Kasibante had been transferred to Mpigi district in a mini-reshuffle by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, while Nanyanzi had been transferred from Kalangala
Hajjat Sarah Nanyanzi was the third commissioner of the Hoima West City division in a space of two years since it was created in the 2020/2021 financial year with Micheal Muhoozi being the first RCC before he was transferred to Makindye Sabagabo followed by Kasibante.
She will be laid to rest today at Katuumu village in Luweero district.
