Police in Kiryadongo district are hunting for one Lucy Ajok a resident of Bweyale Town council for allegedly beating her husband Charles Maaku to death.
The Albertine region Julius Allan Hakiza says on Monday, Maaku came back home very drunk and his wife started beating him accusing him for taking a lot of alcohol.
Hakiza says the children saw their mother seriously beating their father and when they tried to stop her, she could not stop.
The old man died due to severe injuries and after she realized that the man is dead, she took off into hiding.
He says the Ajok will be charged with murder once arrested.
