Police in Kagadi district is investigating the murder of a boda boda cyclist one Patrick Mugisa who was hit with a hammer on the head by yet to be identified passengers he was carrying.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says 25-year-old Mugisa was on Saturday night at around 11:10pm hired by yet to be identified passengers for a ride to Kagadi town.
However, they asked him to head to Kyabugasha. Its at this dark spot that the passengers pulled out a hammer and hit Mugisa on the head leaving him in critical condition before they took off with his motorcycle a bajaj registration number UES 141J.
Hakiza adds that the deceased was rushed to Kagadi hospital where he was pronounced dead hours later.
