The National Unity Platform (NUP) party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bob Wine has camped in Hoima district to seek support for the party candidate Moses Aguuda in the Hoima district LCV Chairperson race.
Kyagulanyi who arrived in the district on Monday spent the rest of the evening in Kigorobya town council in Kigorobya County mobilizing the electorates to demand for improved service delivery from the ruling government.
While in Kigorobya, Bob Wine revealed he has not only come to campaign for the party flagbearer but initiate a beginning to demand for the liberation for Uganda.
He added Ugandans have the same problems and want to see equality for every Ugandan in terms of service delivery and share of the country’s resources adding that Bunyoro region cannot be free unless the entire Uganda is free and vice varsa.
The campaigns for Hoima district LCV Seat enter the last day today ahead of elections later on Thursday September 14.
Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja arrived earlier in the district to seek support for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer Uthuman Mubarak.
The other candidates in the race are Savanna Vincent Muhumuza (Independent), Lenox Mugume (Independent) and Patrick Musinguzi (FDC).
A total of 100, 396 registered voters are expected to cast their vote this Thursday across 14 sub counties in the district.
