Uganda Retirement Benefit Regulatory Authority (URBRA) has advised private companies and institutions in Bunyoro sub region to put in action savings for retirement for its staffs.
Speaking during a visit at Bwendero Dairy Farm in Kitoba, Hoima district on Wednesday, the URBRA board chair Julius Bigirwa Junjura calls on private companies to embrace savings among their employees.
Junjura says the authority is to train people on the significance of saving for retirement.
Albert Bituura, the general manager Bwendero Dairy Farm explains that most people don’t know the benefits of saving adding that when they get money, they spend it all thinking that they will work again and earn.
Bituura says the idea of saving for retirement is embraced at BDF.
