Masindi Municipal Council authorities have launched the rehabilitation of Kihande – Rwijere – Nyabisense road at a tune of 210 million shillings.
The exercise was launched in Kibyama Cell by the deputy Resident District Commissioner Masindi Sanon Dhaala, and the rehabilitation will kick off next week.
Dhaala challenged the engineers to do quality work. He also asked residents to cooperate with the engineer since there is no compensation for the people who have been affected by the rehabilitation of the above road.
The Masindi Municipal deputy mayor Betty Kyomuhendo also urged the residents to make good use of the road through transporting their produce or harvests to the market. She also asked the residents to work in hand with the engineer to ensure quality work is delivered.
