As the nomination for candidates vying for the Hoima district LCV seat draws nearer, more candidates are picking up nomination forms from the regional electoral commission offices for Hoima district.
Patrick Musinguzi, a resident of Bulindi Town council on Monday joined other candidates as he picked the nomination forms in a bid to contest for the district top seat on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket.
Speaking to the media after picking the forms on Monday at the FDC party offices in Duhaga round-about in Hoima City, Musinguzi says he wants to start his leadership with the fight against land grabbing, corruption in accessing jobs, interpreting the district the budget among others.
Musinguzi reveals that he is now embarking on securing the 50 signatures of his supporters from all the 14 sub counties that make up Hoima district.
Musinguzi now joins Savanna Vicent Muhumuza a resident of Kabaale sub county, Micheal Byakagaba and Uthuman M Mugisa residents of Kitoba sub county who have already picked the nomination forms ahead of nomination.
