The Butttebbengwa bwa Bugungu cultural leader elect Norman Lukumu says they have no regrets for breaking away from Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom.
This after the 56 clans of Bagungu on Saturday last week convened and elected their leaders to move forward their Cultural institution.
Now, addressing the press in Masindi town held at Lado hotel on Tuesday, Lukumu has called for unity and cooperation, adding that he is committed to serving and developing the oil-rich Buliisa district.
Lukumu says a new cabinet for the Buttebbengwa bwa Bugungu cultural institution will be released in a fortnight before they head to the ministry of gender, labour and social development to formally introduce the new leaders.
The Bagungu Clan Council elected their cultural leader, known as Muttebbengwa on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Oil Land Hotel in Buliisa Town Council Buliisa district.
