Two children were on Sunday hacked to death in Kagadi District.  The children have been identified as 4-year-old Gift Onesmus and 2-year-old Aloysius Ainembabazi while their injured mother is Juliet Nyakato 22.
The incident happened at 9pm in Kyenzige town council.
Matia Friday, the father says that the assailants gained access to their house after breaking the door.  He says that they hacked whoever was inside the house indiscriminately and in the process, the children were hacked on the head, chest, hands, and face.
Their mother who was hacked on the head and face was rushed to Kagadi General Hospital where she is currently admitted in critical condition.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson has confirmed the incident adding that investigations have commenced though no suspect has yet been arrested.
