The deceased have been identified as 10-year-old Glorious Katusabe and Evarest Byamukama. The deceased were residents of Itomero village in Igoza parish, Nyamarwa Sub County in Kibaale district.
It is alleged that on Saturday, Byamukama who was weeding beans together with his mother Kerodenia Babwetara aged 67 and Katusabe (now deceased), picked a panga and cut Katusabe twice on the head killing her instantly over unknown reasons.
