Farmers in Masindi district have been warned to remain alert for a resurgence of the fall armyworm invasion.
The district agricultural officer Masindi, Job Byaruhanga says the fall armyworm is still in existence due to carelessness of some farmers who do not follow recommended measures.
He says farmers have to regularly spray pesticide once they detected the pests.
Davis Barungi, the Masindi Municipality agricultural officer emphasises the need for farmer education and community action in curbing the spread of the pest.
