Police in Hoima has arrested one person over the alleged murder of a 62-year-old man. The deceased has been identified as Fabian Munduwa, a resident of Kyampaka village, Bulindi town council, Hoima district.
The suspect is Kadende Nzezimaana who is a resident of same village.
The Hoima District Police Commander Jackson Bogere says the two picked up a fight at around 5am on Wednesday morning after Munduwa who was drank was found trespassing in Nzezimaana’s compound.
During the fight, Kadende is said to have over powered Munduwa and ended up killing him on spot.
Bogere says detectives arrived at the scene and picked the body for postmortem. The body was later handed over to relatives for burial.
Bogere calls on communities to use the relevant authorities in their area to find lasting solutions to their grievances.
