Muslim faithfuls have been urged to have a kind and sharing heart during the month of Ramathan.

Ramadan is in fulfilment of the third pillar of the Islamic faith.

Speaking to Spice FM Sheikh Imran Tumwesige, the secretary for Dawa and religious affairs Bunyoro Muslim Supreme council says the holy month is full of blessings and is the basis upon which the other pillars (believing in one God, performing five daily prayers, helping the needy and performing Hajj) are balanced.

Imuran calls on Muslims to support one another especially at the time of breaking the fast.

“As human beings, we are bound to make mistakes. This is the time to forgive each other, ask for Allah’s forgiveness and go forward,” he said in his Ramadan message.
