There is confusion at Kamukole Government Aided Primary school in Ngoma Parish, Bwikara Sub County in Kagadi district following the rejection of the newly appointed head teacher.
Last week, Kagadi district education department transferred Peace Tumwine, the former head teacher of Kasokero primary school to Kamukole primary school.
However, the transfer of Tumwine to Kamukole primary school has drawn strong opposition from parents of the school led by John Kabeera the chairperson PTA and Joseph Atuhaire the Chairperson School Management Committee.
Speaking during a PTA meeting held at the school premises, the parents accused Tumwine of being a poor performer.
The parents say that they are ready to welcome another person to head the school but not Tumwine.
According to Tumwine, the head teacher in question, all the allegations levelled against him by parents are motivated by his predecessor Patrick Twesige who is the former acting school head teacher.
Godard Tumwebaze, the LC3 chairperson for Bwikara Sub County asked parents to give the Head teacher a benefit of doubt and allow him to first deliver as investigations commence.
