Police in Kibaale district is holding a woman and one other person in connection to the gruesome murder of her 80-year-old husband in Kyakazihire Sub County, Kibaale district.
Karega Doviko, a resident of Kacu village in Kyakazihire Sub County was murdered in cold blood and his body discovered Tuesday morning at his home with his head smashed with a suspected brunt object.
Omuhereza Bukenya alias Omugaiga Omuto Kacu says he reported the matter to police that immediately swung into action and arrested Kerementina Nabisazi 36, a second wife to the deceased to aid with investigations.
On interrogation at police, Kerementina confessed to have murdered Karega with the help of one Musoga who deals in charcoal burning who is also in police custody at Kyakazihire police post.
Enock Kareeba, the Kibaale District CID has said that investigations have commenced attributing it to domestic violence between the couple.
Dinavensi Namugabi 60 the first wife to the deceased and her daughter only identified as Basemera have called on the police to expedite investigations into the murder of their family member to have the suspects charged.
