Paul Mucureezi has become the first player to leave Vipers in the January window moments after the arrival of new coach Bianchi Beto.

The midfielder has spent three trophy laden years at Kitende, a side he joined in January 2020 from Mbarara City.

Mucureezi’s contract ran out and both the player and club didn’t engage in renewal talks and he has been let go.

During his three year spell at Kitende, the former KCCA midfielder has won two league titles, one Stanbic Uganda Cup and also was part of the team that reached the group stages of the Caf Champions League.
