Residents of Nyambeho village in Kyesamire parish, Muhorro sub-county in Kagadi district were Monday gripped with grief and shock after discovering the remains of a fellow resident who went missing for about a month.
The deceased has been identified as Elia Nyangozi, aged 48, a resident of Nyambeho village in Kyesamire parish, Muhorro sub-county in Kagadi district.
The remains of the deceased were discovered by residents wrapped in a polythene bag and buried in the family garden near a swamp.
The key suspects in the murder act are the deceased’s wife Enid Kenohire and son Francis Turyasingura 19 both still at large.
The Nyambaho village chairperson Lawrence Karyarugokwe said Elia Nyangozi now the deceased for a long time had wrangles with his wife and for several times his office has been intervening to settle them.
