Parents and other stakeholders in Kikuube district have been challenged to support and embrace the mental health of their children in order to raise responsible citizens of the country.
The remarks were made by Dorothy Ajwang, the Chief Administrative Officer Kikuube district during the budget conference for the FY 2023/24 held at Hoima Resort hotel.
Ajwang says mental health related cases are reportedly on the rise in the district and the country at large. She challenges the district community department and other non-government organizations to come on board and support parents in raising children who are mentally healthy and responsible.
