A police officer has committed suicide by hanging this morning in Masindi district.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson has identified the deceased as Constable Kandole who was attached to Masindi Police Station.
Kandole used a rope to end his life at Masindi Golf Grounds. His lifeless body was discovered by residnets who later alerted the police.
According to Hakiza, the deceased had mental issues, but they are yet to find out what exactly happened.
