The Uganda Cranes team last night traveled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a training camp where they will also play two international friendly matches against the Saudi Arabia national team, The Falcons.

A contingent of 35 people, including 25 players and 10 officials left Entebbe International Airport at 11:00PM aboard a Qatar Airways flight.

According to a statement from FUFA, the trip is funded by the Saudi Arabian Football Association. The Cranes team which has majority of the players U-23 will play two games against The Falcons on July 2nd and July 5th July in Riyad.

The training camp is intended to help Uganda Cranes prepare for the forthcoming CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup starting on July 17th in Ethiopia.
