Others who were arrested included his secretary Twaha Nkata and a group of six youths led by Makerere University Guild President Julius Kateregga.

The six appeared before Nabweru Court Grade One Magistrate Achok Abrahams Moding on charges of being armed in a public place contrary to section 75 (a) of the Penal Code Act.    They denied the charges and were remanded to Kasangati Prisons until August 27th.
